Visit our Careers pages and click "Search Jobs" to find what you are looking for. This will lead you to the online Workday application where you can create an account, browse positions, and submit an application. Our application process typically takes 10-15 minutes to complete.

Yes. However, the evaluation process and timeline vary for each position. The selection process may not occur at the same time if you apply to multiple positions.

Yes, you are able to use the same application to apply for multiple positions. Once you apply to one position, the profile you created will save your information and uploaded documents, which can be used to apply to other positions.

When you apply for another position, you can select the option “Use my profile,” which will auto-fill the fields you completed in your previous application. You can also select the option “Saved resumes/CVs,” which will upload the same documents you used in your previous application.

No, you are unable to update your application after you submit it in the online portal.

We cannot guarantee a response time for any application. The evaluation process and timeline vary for each position. Some responses are automated and could be dependent upon whether an applicant’s skills meet the qualifications of a specific position.

You can withdraw your application at any time by calling us at +1 619-544-5000 or emailing careers@solarturbines.com with your full name, title of the position (i.e. Mechanical Design Engineer) and the location of the position (i.e. San Diego). For the subject line in the email, please use “Request to Withdraw an Application.”

Former Solar Turbines employees will need to go through the same process as any external candidate applying for a position.

No, our application process is the same for all locations. To be considered for a specific opportunity, an applicant must apply online and meet the position’s minimum qualifications. However, the hiring process may have some differences between the United States and international locations.

Yes, we offer relocation depending on the position. Many of our positions offer a comprehensive relocation package. However, some opportunities are only for local candidates. Please review each position to learn about its relocation options.

Yes, you can apply for positions located internationally. There are some positions that Solar may be able to sponsor visas for, depending on the requirements of the position and qualifications of the candidate.

Yes, some of our positions are preapproved to sponsor visas. If the position is not preapproved to sponsor visas, applicants must be currently eligible to work in the country where the position is located. For information on employment eligibility in the United States, please visit the U.S. Immigration Services website at www.uscis.gov.

For new graduate and internship opportunities, we begin recruiting in the fall for Winter and Summer positions. Our positions are typically posted in September and will remain open until we determine that we have enough qualified applicants.

We recommend you provide as much information as possible on your application. Pay close attention to the minimum qualifications listed within the posting. We also recommend that you customize your resume to the specific position you are applying for.

We always want to hear about why you are interested in Solar Turbines. We recommend researching our company and the role for which you are applying. When it comes to on-site interviews, prepare to share examples from your past experiences in response to behavioral-based questions.
